Where do you shop for food?

I get my organic weekly shop delivered every Thursday. I have a standing order, which makes things really easy.

I've been a vegetarian for 20 years.

What are your vices?

Potatoes. Especially roasted with lots of rosemary. However, there's nothing worse than bland ones - organic are always delicious.

Is there anything you don't eat?

I've been a vegetarian for 20 years. But I must confess I do miss meat, especially when I go to barbeques. I love the smell. Other than that, I'm not a fussy eater.

Tell us about your diet

On Christmas morning, I make scrambled eggs on muffins. For lunch, I make nut loaf for me and the kids, with roast potatoes, roasted veg, Yorkshire pudding and vegetarian gravy. My husband Martin [Frizell, GMTV's editor] cooks himself a turkey leg. I can't resist mince pies and Christmas pudding, but I'm trying not to eat desserts this year as I'm off to a New Year's Eve ball and have to fit into my dress.

What's your favourite food?

It has to involve potatoes. Sometimes I have a plate of roast and mash potatoes with gravy and steamed vegetables.

And to drink?

I used to drink champagne on Christmas morning, but now it wipes me out for the rest of the day. So I prefer a glass or two of red wine once I've put the kids to bed.

Nutritionist Kate Cook says:

'Potatoes provide energy, protein, vitamins and minerals. For added fibre, Fiona should eat the skin. Vegetarians need to watch they don't overdo dairy and should make use of the variety of beans and pulses available. A glass of red wine will provide antioxidants and help Fiona relax. A little of what you fancy does you good, especially at Christmas time, and a mince pie or two won't stop Fiona getting into her frock.'
