She announced that she was expecting LIVE on Good Morning Britain earlier this year and now Laura Tobin has confirmed that she has given birth to a baby girl.
Back in May Laura included her surprise pregnancy announcement as part of a weather report on the ITV morning show.
She said: "As we head into September things will be blooming but it won't just be my dress because, I'm very pleased to let everybody know that come the end of October I'll be having my own little ray of sunshine.
"I am having a baby."
And it seemed it wasn't just presenters Susanna Reid and Piers Morgan who were taken aback by the news. Laura also revealed that at that point she had, in fact, not told anybody. She explained: "I would like to say nobody knows - none of my family, my aunties, uncles, cousins and no one in the news office."
And with her announcement on Wednesday this week Laura took everyone by surprise once more as she divulged that she had given birth much sooner than expected.
The presenter took to Twitter to tell all saying: "I'm proud to announce i'm a mummy-My beautiful baby arrived over the summer (much earlier than planned) a gorgeous girl called Charlotte."
Aaaahhhh, congratulations Laura. We can't wait to see the first pictures of your mini me!
