Two years after she tragically lost boyfriend Cory Monteith, Glee star Lea Michele has written emotional tributes to the talented star on social media.

Lea took to her Twitter on the anniversary of his death, writing: "Today we remember the laughter and joy you brought into our lives every day.

“We think of you always and love you so."

The singer and actress also shared an emotional Instagram post of her former co-star, writing: "I know you would want us all laughing and smiling today.. So we think of you and remember all the laughter and joy we shared together. I hold you in my heart always and love and miss you so..."

Cory was tragically found dead in his hotel room in Vancouver after overdosing on heroin and alcohol on July 13, 2013. He was just 31 years old.

He had received treatment for drug diction at the age of 19, and before his death he had completed a further rehab course.

Lea, 28, was left devastated by his death and sought solace with her Glee co-stars and Cory’s close family.

Since June last year, Lea has been dating lifestyle coach Matthew Paetz, but it is clear to everyone that Cory remains in her thoughts.
