With members of Girls Aloud and boy band Westlife now going their separate ways, pop fans thought that it was the end of the road for both successful groups.

But now the bands have teamed up!

Westlife singer Shane Filan has joined forces with Girls Aloud’s Nadine Coyle in what can only be described as a match made in pop heaven.

The pair have teamed up in what has been dubbed a Girls Aloud/Westlife ‘supergroup’ to record some beautiful music together.

Irish stars Nadine, 30, and Shane, 36, have stepped into the recording studio to write a duet together called I Could Be.

The song will feature on Shane’s upcoming solo album, Right Now.

Nadine said about the project: “I’m a huge fan of Shane and used to love listening to his songs growing up.

“I love the track we’ve done and can’t wait for us to perform it live.”
