It’s never nice feeling left out, but former Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding found herself put out after Nicola Roberts decided NOT to invite her to her 30th birthday party.
Speaking to The Sun, Sarah revealed that she was snubbed from the celebrations, which were attended by ex-bandmates Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Kimberley Walsh.
She said: “I didn’t get a f***ing invite to Nicola’s birthday! But you know what? I am independent so whatever. I nearly tweeted about it but I thought I better not. If I had an invite I would have gone but I didn’t.”
The incident has destroyed any hopes that the band will be reuniting any time soon, with Nadine Coyle also a no-show at the glitzy soiree.
Sarah added: “Nadine lives in LA, the other three do their own thing and that’s just how it is.”
She then went on the defensive, continuing: “I have my own set of good friends so I am fine. I didn’t even know it was Nicola’s birthday so I definitely didn’t wish her a happy birthday.”
Do we detect a bit of sour grapes…?
Sarah has been focusing on her solo career whilst also doing a turn in Coronation Street. Sadly, the soap fans’ reception wasn’t too positive and Sarah failed to win over audiences.
