It has been almost a year since Geri Horner, Emma Bunton and Melanie Brown told the world that they would be getting back together for a Spice Girls reunion.

Although Victoria Beckham and Melanie C declined to rejoin the group, the remaining three bandmates decided to go ahead and reform.

Ever since, we have all been waiting like excited little girls to hear what the ladies are planning to do.

However, as Geri prepares to give birth to her second child, the singer has finally made the decision to quit the reunion so that she can focus on her family.

A source told The Sun: “Geri’s priorities have changed.

“Her baby is due later this year and rather than force a reunion, she’s needs to concentrate on more personal matters.”

The girls were reportedly struggling to find time to get together, which means that it now may be too late to make it happen.

Victoria spoke about how sad she would be if the girls decided to use their old material, and Mel C discussed her reasons for not rejoining in several interviews, and even suggested that the remaining singers should completely give up their dream of making the reunion happen.

We would have loved to see all the girls back together again, but with Emma and Mel B the only two left, we’re just going to have to wait and see how it all turns out.
