Formula One boss Christian Horner reportedly proposed to Geri a few weeks ago after the pair started dating in January.
The 41-year-old allegedly told her friends: “I am the happiest I have been in my life.”
Insiders say that Geri wants to keep the engagement low-key as Christian split up with the mother of his child just last year.
“Geri is delighted and has been telling close friends about the plans – but they have been more cautious around his family.

“They made the decision to get engaged this spring but have kept it quiet to avoid any awkward fall outs.”
The source continues: “Some of his family are still unsure about the situation. They weren’t impressed at the breakdown of his relationship with Beverley just six months after the baby’s birth.”
The singer has had a turbulent love life, which has seen her dating the likes of Russell Brand and Robbie Williams as well as becoming pregnant following a fling with scriptwriter Sacha Gervasi. Geri and Sacha’s daughter Bluebell is now seven.
Geri’s engagement comes as bandmate Victoria Beckham celebrates her fifteen year wedding anniversary to husband David- perhaps she has some pearls of wisdom to pass onto her fellow Spice girl?
