Geri Halliwell changes name to Horner following marriage to F1 boss

Geri Halliwell got her happy ending last weekend, as she wed F1 boss Christian Horner surrounded by her family and friends.

And despite her name being known world-wide as member of succesful nineties girlband The Spice Girls, Geri has revealed she is a traditional girl at heart - swapping her surname for her husband's.

The 42-year-old wed handsome businessman Horner in a star-studded ceremony in Bedforshire at the weekend, before jetting off for a honeymoon in the Med.

But despite being busy enjoying her honeymoon, Halliwell still took time to change her name on her social media pages to Geri Horner, her new married name.

So far the couple have visited Cannes, which is currently hosting the famous film festival, before jetting off to Monaco - playground for the super-rich.

Geri has shared frequent updates to her social media pages, letting her followers know she is bliddfully happy in the first week of married life.

But despite relaxing by the pool and partying at night, Geri hasn't let her exercise regime slip - posting an Instagram snap of her working out in the gym.

Meanwhile, her hardworking husband Chrisian has had to break of celebrations at points to take care of F1 business, with Geri tweeting jokingly: 'He must have a very understanding wife.'
