Geri Halliwell has broken her silence following Mel B’s shocking accusations
Childhoods were ruined everywhere last month when Mel B, of Scary Spice fame, revealed that she and Ginger Spice had enjoyed a distinctly non-PG relationship during their Spicy heyday.
After the claims were made during an interview with Piers Morgan, the media was quick to report on a deepening rift between the two, and over the weekend speculation reached its’ climax when it was reported that Geri ‘wasn’t speaking to’ Mel over the controversy, putting theupcoming reunion tour at risk.
But now Geri, who is married to Formula One racing boss Christian Horner, has released a statement dismissing the claims.

After Mel B revealed that she and “best friend” Geri had slept together during the 90’s, host Piers revealed what had gone on backstage after the shock confession had been made.
"There was a lot of flurried activity after the recording. I asked 'where is Mel?'. They said she’s just making a call to Geri to smooth things over,” he said.
"It’s all kicking off. Geri is now briefing it never happened. She’s slightly panicking I imagine about what Mr Geri thinks."
