She famously quit I’m A Celeb! admitting she’d hit “rock bottom” and was “broken,” after a hellish 2014.

But last week a groomed, glossy and slimmer-looking Gemma Collins stepped back into the spotlight at the National Television Awards. And the ex-TOWIE star tells Closer she has set about transforming her love life and body.

Gemma reveals: “Since leaving I’m A Celeb! I’ve had a whole life change. I’ve been dieting and I’m really pleased to have lost a stone – I’m feeling great. I came out of the jungle and felt like I needed a new start, so I’m looking after myself and aim to lose even more weight.”

According to insiders, Gemma – who was a size 22 at her biggest, but dropped to size 14 in 2011, thanks to boot camp stints and a strict diet – has found a weight-loss plan that suits her.

A source says: “Gemma is determined to have a fresh start this year and is making a big change to her body to try to drop from a size 20. She’s ditched chocolate and junk food and has got really into juicing. She’s cut down on wheat, dairy and booze, and is focusing on eating protein and veg in the evenings.

“She’s been exercising daily too – she’s doing lots of cardio, including workouts on the cross trainer, cycle sessions and light jogs on the running machine. She’s also doing weights and yoga sessions to build up her core strength and to help her relax.”
