According to reports, Gemma Collins is yet the latest TOWIE star to fall foul to the reality show’s suspension curse.

Following in the footsteps of co-stars Dan Osborne and Mario Falcone, the 34-year-old was reportedly asked to leave filming after she ‘stormed off set’ whilst shooting in Marbella.

Breaking her silence for the first time since the allegations were made public, Gemma took to Instagram to have her say on the matter.

In an emotional post, she shared a graphic on her account reading: "Never apologise for trusting your intuition - your brain can play tricks, your heart can blind, but your gut is always right."

Gemma is no longer filming alongside co-stars Bobby Norris and Lauren Pope (pictured)

The outspoken star wrote alongside the image: "New pathway so excited got to be me from now on won't be controlled or portrayed as no one but myself anymore and when you stand up people don't like it."

A source later told The Mirror: "Gemma did throw a plastic flute at the team, but it wasn't a glass. She didn't feel comfortable in the situation she was in, but she was in tears afterwards."

They added: “Producers make it quite clear to cast that bad behaviour will not be tolerated.”

It is not yet known whether GC will return to the popular series or not, but one things for sure there will be a noticeable absence in our regular Wednesday and Saturday night viewing.
