The 34-year-old was allegedly set to join stars including Peter Andre and Georgia May Foote for this years’s show – but her diva behaviour is said to have irked BBC bosses.
A source told the Daily Star: “Gemma was quite demanding when it came to pre-series filming commitments. Her diva persona is a hit with fans but didn’t go down well at Strictly.”
However former car saleswoman Gemma’s reps have denied any claims she was due to appear on the show.
A spokesperson told the newspaper: “She has never met with Strictly bookers and there were no plans for her to appear on the show.”
Gemma – who recently shed 3 stone – has insisted she’s determined to stick to her healthier lifestyle.
After a less-than-successful appearance on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here last year, it’s been reported that the GC could be entering the jungle again this year.
She admitted to struggling with the lack of food last time, so her new diet could help if she does attempt the show for a second time.
The GC told the Mirror: “I want to grow all organic fruit and vegetables and eventually I will go vegetarian. I’ve got into organic food. That’s what I snack on. We all pollute our bodies with so much sh*t.”
