Gemma ‘The GC’ Collins has recalled the terrifying moment she was followed round an airport by a stranger shouting “fatty, fatty” at her.
Speaking of the time a photographer chased her for a picture, she said, “I was at an airport recently, this guy kept trying to take a picture and he was filming. He just started chanting, 'fatty, fatty, fatty'.
"Who behaves like this? He thought it was bothering me, but it wasn't because I've heard it all before. I just thought, 'gosh, how awful that you live with this feeling inside of you'."
Gemma has always faced trolling for being bigger than her co-stars on TOWIE but says that the abuse has only given her a thicker skin and rather be disheartened, she simply feels sorry for bullies.

Earlier this month, Gemma opened up exclusively to Closer about feeling more confident than ever, but revealed plans to go under the knife to “reverse ageing” and reduce her bust.
“I’d like a boob uplift. The world is my oyster,” she said, adding, “I’m trying to ‘age reverse’ myself. I am more body confident than ever now.
“I’m riding solo, I’m doing everything on my own. I’m a strong person, and there’s nothing really I can’t do… I haven’t been on a date night in ages and I’m not really bothered.”
