Kristen Bell, 33, and husband Dax Shepherd, 39, have revealed that they are "beyond excited" to be expecting their second baby together.

The couple, who are already parents to 15-month-old daughter Lincoln, revealed their happy news via their official spokesperson.

They said: "I can confirm that Kristen and Dax are expecting their second child and a sibling for Lincoln.

"The whole family is beyond excited."

Married since last October - after six years together - the Frozen star and Dax welcomed their first child together in May 2013.

And Kristen took to motherhood immediately, gushing to Us Weekly that she is absolutely besotted with her little girl.

"I love [motherhood]! She's absolutely intoxicating."

More recently, at the Amex Everyday Event in New York City this past April, she told Us, "I want to be very hands on. I want to cook for my family and feel present for them. I'm always missing her when I'm not there."
