The moment Friends fans all over the world had been waiting for finally took place at the weekend.
Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer reunited for the first time since the hit sitcom ended over 10 years ago.
Unfortunately Matthew Perry was unable to attend, due to work commitments, but the get-together was every bit as perfect as we’d expected.
It took place as part of NBC’s tribute to director James Burrows, and the cast shared stories and anecdotes from their time on set.
Here’s six things we learned:

The cast inspired the episodes: The One With All The Poker was derived from their games in Lisa’s dressing room.

Jennifer originally auditioned for the part of Monica, while Courteney almost became Rachel. Can you imagine?!

It was reported that the cast were asked to sign agreements saying they would not sleep with each other. But Lisa dismissed these claims.

For the entire 10-year run, Courteney, Jennifer and Lisa ate the same lunch: a cob salad which they called a Jennifer salad.

Some of the cast’s favourite episodes to film were the flashbacks, in which Monica was fat and Rachel had her natural nose.

In the early days, the cast would watch the show together and give each other notes on how they could improve.
While this was not the reunion episode many fans were hoping for, it quenched our thirst for new Friends content. For now, at least…
