We all feel nervous when stepping out in a bikini so it was devastating for Frankie Essex when she was branded 'fat' by a fellow holidaymaker this week.
The former TOWIE starlet has been open about her struggle with her weight but had stunned fans with her dramatic transformation last year, after losing two stones and releasing her own fitness DVD.
In recent weeks her work outs have been taking a back seat due to a knee injury and the Essex girl divulged to The Sun that she was feeling depressed at the subsequent weight gain.
She told the paper: "I have hurt my knee so I haven’t been able to train. You know when you just get depressed? I go to the gym and that helps with my depression.
"It’s annoying because I’ve put on a bit of weight. I’ve put on a stone. Not being able to go to the gym, you eat and it makes me a bit depressed because I can’t go to the gym."
And now the 30-year-old has taken to Twitter to reveal she's been the victim of upsetting comments while relaxing on holiday with friend Casey Batchelor.
She wrote: "Was having a lovely day at the pool with @caseybatchelor until someone decided to call me fat a few sun loungers down from us so hurtful 🙈"
She added: "I don't even want to wear a bikini now feel so uncomfortable 🙁"
Her fans were quick to offer their support with many encouraging her to ignore the cruel jibes.
One said: "This person is jealous of you . Take no notice."
While another replied: "Don't feel bad you are stunning and always have been you are definitely not fat what silly girls they are xx"
Let's hope Frankie will feel confident enough to strut her stuff in a bikini soon.
