In an interview with a UK newspaper, the Saturday’s star opened up about her new lifestyle now she’s a mother and a wife.
The 25-year-old also admitted that she’s yet to ‘feel’ like a mum.
“Although until Parker calls me “Mummy” I don’t think I feel like one. It’s weird enough when they introduce me as “Frankie Bridge” on Strictly!
"I actually think motherhood and marriage happened to me because I’m happy now. For a long time, my head wasn’t in the right place to be someone’s wife or mum. But I managed to get through that.
"Wayne is such a chilled out person and that’s really influenced me. I’m only 25, we’re newly-weds and I have a gorgeous baby boy. I am really happy."
The young mum then opened up about her first moments with son Parker, and the immense love she felt for her child after meeting him.
“The amount of love I have for Parker. It’s a beautiful thing, but it’s also overwhelming. It’s like no other love you’ve known before. The fear of him not needing me when he’s older has already set in. I’m going to be one of those mumstelling him he can’t leave home or get married. I’ll be shouting, ‘She’s not good enough for you!’ as he walks out the door.
“When they put Parker on me after he was born, skin to skin, he just lay there for a couple of hours and I couldn’t believe he was mine. I could feel my love growing for him by the hour. Every noise, movement, even hiccup made me love him more. I wasn’t planning to breast-feed, but I ended up doing it for a month – Parker just did it automatically and I really loved it. But I can’t lie, the first couple of weeks are really hard and scary.”
