On 15th August, Frankie Bridge - formerly known as Frankie Sanford - took to Twitter to announce the birth of her second baby.

She said emotionally: “Our gorgeous baby boy Carter Bridge was born this morning.

“He is absolutely perfect - Parker is so excited to be a big brother!”

But, while all seemed calm at the time, the songstress has now admitted that things were a LOT more flustered on the day - particularly as Carter arrived earlier than he was supposed to!

Speaking with OK! Magazine, she explained: "I was booked in for a C-section on the Monday [August 17] but at 6pm on Friday evening my waters broke.

“I’d been having Braxton Hicks for a few days before but we were still both so surprised."

She added that she felt very unprepared for her second son’s entrance to the world, saying: "I'd been so laid back about it all because I thought I knew exactly when he was coming - I hadn't even packed my hospital bag until a few days before."

But, thankfully, everything went smoothly.

And Frankie admitted that both she and footballer hubby Wayne Bridge burst into tears when they saw their newborn son.

She said: "My first thought was that he looked like a much smaller version of Parker when he was born, which made me feel quite emotional.

"Wayne and I both cried when we first saw him."

N’aww - we know exactly how that feels.
