The former TOWIE star took to Instagram to confirm her happy news.

She wrote: "So happy and excited to announce we are expecting our first baby together July 2015."

The message was alongside a cute snap of her cradling her stomach.

It's been a bit of a baby boom in Essex already this year, with Cara's fellow former TOWIE star and bestie Billi Mucklow also recently revealing she and fiancé Andy Caroll are expecting.

Showing her excitement for Cara, Billi reposted the photo and wrote: "I'm so excited. Me and my best friend are having babies. So happy that we get to go through the tears and joys together.

"Our babies will be mini besties. Love you @carakilbey #MiniMuck #LittleKilbs [sic]"

Billi and Andy announced their own happy news on Christmas Day. She posted a snap to Instagram of them pointing to her tummy, writing: "Merry Christmas #OurLittlePudding"

Cara also congratulated her best friend on the news, writing: "SO finally I can share the amazing news that my beautiful best friend @billimucklow and husband to be @andycaroll are expecting… 2014 has been your year my darling and I love you. Can't wait to meet this little mister. Hopefully they get Andy's long legs and your looks."
