Darius Campbell – formerly known as Darius Danesh – confirmed last night that he and Natasha Henstridge had split, saying it was ‘a mutual decision.’
The 32 year-old refused to disclose the reasons for the decision, but told a UK newspaper: 'We decided to file for divorce and we ask for privacy at this time. We filed the divorce papers today. It was a mutual decision.'
But according to the newspaper’s source, it was Natasha, 38, who filed for divorce after rows over finances.
The source revealed that Darius had moved out of the couple’s home in California – which they share with Natasha’s two young sons - to live with a friend.
However, the actress has contested on Twitter that she was the one who had moved out of the joint home, writing: 'Stranded from my own house and yet apparently that's where I'm supposedly living right now..... Truth always prevails.'
The pair married in secret, away from their friends and family, on Valentines day in 2011 following a seven-year relationship.

Only Natasha’s two sons Tristan 14, and 11 year-old Asher – who she had with actor Liam Waite – attended the wedding as witnesses.
Speaking to a magazine after the wedding, Natasha said: ‘A week before Valentine's Day, Darius said, “Let's just elope!” We love Valentine's, we're both a bit cheesy like that, so I said, “Why not?”’
The actress was previously married to actor Damian Chapa from 1995 until 1996.
