The princes were attending The Queen's Young Leaders of the Commonwealth event at the palace, which celebrates 240 young people who have changed their lives and others in the face of adversity.
Among the youngsters in attendance were Fahman Mohamed, 17, who campaigns against female genital mutilation, and Rob and Paul Forkan, who set up a flip flop business after they were orphaned by the 2004 Tsunami in Thailand.
Celebrities also flocked to the palace to be involved in the inspirational event, including singer Joss Stone, comedian Jennifer Saunders and Radio 1 DJ Gemma Cairney.
Earlier this year, Prince Andrew became the first to take a 'royal selfie' after he posted a picture of himself in front of a packed crowd at St James's Palace.
