When he first came to our attention in dark drama The Fall, it was as serial killer Paul Spektor.

And two years later, he has been propelled into one of the biggest stars of the moment thanks to his role as BDSM lover Christian Grey.

The Irish hunk, 32, has admitted he finds the trend a tad concerning.

‘It kinda worries me sometimes how comfortable I am in that zone,’ he told the Guardian newspaper.

‘I consider myself quite light-hearted, pretty easy-going, and I keep playing sick psychopath b******s!’

Dornan also put to bed any rumours that he would not reprise his role as troubled Christian Grey for the next two screen adaptations of Fifty Shades, though he was unable to confirm any further details.

Jamie and his co-star Dakota Johnson’s salaries were increased after the film took home more than £550 million at the box office.

The 32-year-old actor, who has a child with wife Amelia Warner, is due to start filming war movie Anthropoid this summer. A third series of The Fall has also been confirmed. We can't wait!
