Ferne McCann made it official with her new man, model Jack Padgett, last week by posting a series of loved-up photos on social media, taken from the couple’s glamorous South African getaway over the New Year.
Ferne, 30, revealed how Jack, 26, was “the reason I smile”, and thanked him for “showing me what happy is”. Her love confession came after she was deliberately coy about her new relationship when speaking to Closer last month, saying, “I don’t want to talk about my new man because I don’t want to scare him off.”
Just two months after they started dating, Jack moved into the Essex home Ferne shares with her three-year-old daughter, Sunday. Despite saying “it’s early days”, Ferne admits how living through lockdown with Jack had been a “weird” and “wonderful” experience.
It’s a distinct turnaround for Ferne after her shock split from ex-boyfriend, Albie Gibbs, last spring. She also suffered heartbreak when Sunday’s father, Arthur Collins, was jailed for 20 years for his involvement in an acid attack at a London nightclub, just 12 days after Ferne gave birth.

The doting mum had previously split from her boyfriend of five years, Charlie Sims, in 2015, after appearing together on TOWIE.
And Ferne could soon be saying ‘I do’, after previously telling Closer she couldn’t wait to settle down. She gushed, “I’m up for having more babies!”
