Ferne McCann has blasted the term "single mum" and has said she doesn't want to be "defined" by the term.
Ferne is expecting her first child next month, and will be bringing her child up in a single-parent household due to the fact that the father of her baby and ex-boyfriend Arthur Collins is standing trial for GBH.
But Ferne, 27, has been determined to stay positive throughout her pregnancy which she has faced largely alone.

Speaking to OK! Magazine, the glowing mum-to-be opened up about why she doesn't want to be referred to as a "single mum".
She told the publication: "I don't like the term 'single mum' and I don't want to be addressed as that because I don't think you should be labelled.
"To me, I'm going to be a mum like anyone else, but just in a different situation. It shouldn't define you."
You go, girl.
She went on to say: "Yes, I have done this whole pregnancy on my own, but at the same time I'm so not alone – I've got such a great support network with my mum, sister and friends.
"I've not felt alone or been alone once during this pregnancy."
And Ferne's mum Gill, has been completely on hand throughout the past eight months - even stepping up to be Ferne's birthing partner.
Ferne, who is due to give birth mid-to-late Novemeber, has refused to let herself think about what could have been if Arthur had been around: "I don't think about that now because my mum is my birthing partner. I don't dwell on how different it could have been.
"Obviously there are moments when that does cross my mind, but I'm just focusing on the positives.
"In life you're dealt the hand that you're dealt, and you actually really surprise yourself with how much you can cope with."

But Ferne hasn't found it difficult to stay upbeat as she has some pretty good inspiration: "I'm being strong because I have to think about my baby. The whole process of being pregnant has made me a much stronger person.
"They say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger and it really is true. I feel like I've developed a new armour this year."
We can smell a parenting book coming along... And we would totally read it!
Ferne added that she has been thinking about "definitely not traditional" names, revealing that they're "not wacky" but "more out-there."
She added: "I think the name I choose is what people will have the most opinions on and that will bug me, but it's my decision."
