The couple, who have been together since 2011, said ‘I do’ in front of close friends and family at a registry office in Richmond.

Fearne shared the cute picture on Instagram, writing: "The happiest day. So full of love. The family I love. Friends I couldn't live without. The soul mate. This moment I will never forget. Thank you Tom Odell for this magical moment."

Radio 1 presenter Fearne, 32, looked absolutely stunning in a simple white dress with a sliver neckline. She kept her make-up minimal and her hair loose.

This morning Fearne sent her first tweet as a married woman, writing: "Good morning everyone from a very happy Mr and Mrs Wood"

She announced her engagement to 37-year-old Jesse – son of the Rolling Stone’s Ronnie – last year.

Taking to Twitter at the time, Fearne said: “I am over the moon to tell you that on Saturday Jesse proposed and I happened to say Yes.”

Jesse and Fearne have a one-year-old son together, Rex, who was born last February.

Yesterday Fearne was pictured in the back of a car on her way to the registry office with her dad, visibly very happy.

She couldn’t keep the smile off of her face as she made her way inside the venue, and she and Jesse were beaming as they left a married couple.

Speaking about her marriage plans last year, Fearne said: “I’d love to get married and I’m sure Jesse would too, but we don’t have any plans yet – we’re so hectic with a baby and two other kids [Jesse’s children Arthur and Lola], and we’re both working. I think it’s important to feel like a family unit though.”

Congratulations Fearne and Jesse!
