Former Coronation Street star Faye Brookes, who’s currently taking part in Dancing on Ice, has revealed the most famous person to slide into her DMs.
Spilling the tea, she explained that the fellow celebrity skater confessed they're “rooting for Hamish and I after we performed 'Lover' on Dancing on Ice.”
Hmm. And who might that be?
Well, none other than Essex’s own Gemma ‘The GC’ Collins, of course, who took her own star turn on the ice in 2019 skating alongside Matt Evers.
And while Gemma’s most infamous moment on the show wasTHAT fall during a passionate routine to the sounds of Celine Dion, Faye revealed she almost had her own embarrassing episode when her trousers split backstage moment before going on.

“I always said I never wanted to do it,” she told OK! magazine of her decision to accept the offer to take to the ice.
“I always said my face was my job and I’m scared I might fall on it! But we went through this crazy past year and it was the first opportunity that came up and I didn’t bat an eyelid.
“Since I said yes, I’ve completely fallen head over heels in love with the sport. I eat, sleep and breathe the ice.”

And of pro partner Hamish, Faye said, “He’s like a big brother.
“He completely respects my work ethic and he can see I want to be a pure professional. He’s a perfectionist to the point where he’s like, 'OK, we just need to enjoy it now.' But I kind of love that. I think he’s the perfect partner for me. I asked for a taskmaster and I got one.”
Meanwhile, Dancing on Ice has been left in chaos after a third celebrity was confirmed to have left the competition.
This time it was comedian Rufus Hound, who’s been dropped after testing positive for Covid-19 for a second time.
After getting off to a flying start during week one when he was the first recipient of this series’ Golden Ticket twist, Rufus has been notably absent for the previous two shows after he tested positive for the virus.
Having completed his quarantine, a further test showed he was still positive and ITV has been left with no choice but to replace him and his professional skating partner Robin Johnstone in the competition.
