Kelly Osbourne and the Fashion Police have come under fire after slamming Elsa Pataky - Chris Hemsworth's heavily pregnant wife - for looking "huge" on the Oscars 2014 red carpet…

Elsa Pataky, 37, looked mesmerising at the Oscars 2014. The mum-of-one is heavily pregnant with twins, but she donned a sheer, embellished teal gown and stood proudly next to husband Chris Hemsworth on the red carpet.

"The last thing I wanna do is rip on a pregnant woman… but that doesn't look like a a baby bump, it looks like a beer belly"

But, in a special episode of Fashion Police, the gorgeous and visibly pregnant star's style was ripped apart for making her look "huge".

Joan Rivers started off the chat by saying: "I'm sorry, look at her tummy!

"She is HUGE. I know why she's huge. I saw her sonogram."

At this point, she gestured at the now infamous photo that Ellen DeGeneres snapped at the Oscars, featuring the likes of Brad Pitt, Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, Meryl Streep and more.

Yes, she was implying that all of these people were crowded inside Elsa Pataky's belly.

George Kotsiopoulos then had his say on the look, adding: "The last thing I wanna do is rip on a pregnant woman… but that doesn't look like a a baby bump, it looks like a beer belly."

Kelly Osbourne added that it wasn't an "appropriate" dress for a pregnant woman to wear, before Giuliana Rancic chimed in, revealing: "I'm not a good friend, because I saved this till the end, but she is pregnant with twins."

Elsa Pataky is seven months pregnant with twins and it must have been hard for her to dress her bump and walk the red carpet. And, all Fashion Police jokes aside, we thought she looked pretty mesmerising in her Elie Saab gown.

Remember when Kim Kardashian, whilst pregnant with North West, came under fire in the media for looking like a "whale" with her baby bump? We'd like to remind ourselves of the wise words shared by fellow celebrity mummy, Jenna Dewan-Tatum:

"Lets all be kind to every woman out there who is expecting... it shouldn't be about how much weight someone has gained, their fashion. It's a beautiful amazing moment in time and not about vanity!"

Do you agree with Jenna Dewan-Tatum? Are you angry about how the Fashion Police talked about Elsa Pataky's baby bump? Or do you feel that, as fashion experts, they were simply sharing their opinion on her dress?
