Vicky Pattison and Alex Cannon have been long-time pals but now fans are begging them to take their relationship to the next step and get together.

Both stars have previously sparked romance rumours after confessing their love for each other but have never made things official.

And now, in her latest selfie, Vicky, who is currently in Australia filming I'm A Celebrity...Extra Camp, has gushed about Alex in an adorable message on Instagram.

She wrote: "That moment when you don't think you couldn't love someone anymore and then they do something so loyal, genuine and kind and they do it instinctively and unprompted... That is a special moment!"

Fans quickly reacted to the sweet snap, with one writing: " These two need their heads banging together. What is it going to take to make them realise they're perfect for each other x"

Alex would be a welcome departure for Vicky after her most recent boyfriend, Jordan Wright, was recently picture holding hands with another woman.
