The rumour mill went into overdrive last week, after Michelle stepped out wearing a poncho on the red carpet at her Lipsy A/W clothing launch. Twitter was full to the brim with fans tweeting that she was pregnant, just months after marrying TOWIE’s Mark.
We spoke to his sister Jess to get the lowdown on the matter.
Asking her about the rumours, Jess revealed they were ‘complete rubbish’, despite the fact the actress has been covering up a lot more recently in baggy outfits and large jumpers.
Jess, who celebrated her 30th birthday earlier this month, also spoke to us about her new found confidence – saying she feels better than ever.
‘I think when I was 25 I was a bit all over the place,’ she told us.
‘I was very insecure and unsure of who I was. But then in the last six months I’ve just completely changed - I feel really relaxed and chilled out and become the person I think I am.
‘I’m confident in my own skin and I feel happy to be on my own - which I never would have done before.
‘When I was 25 I would have needed company but now I will happily spend a Saturday night in because I’m relaxed in my own company.’
Speaking about why this was, Jess admitted that the relationships and break ups she’s been through have taught her a lot for the future.
‘I’ve been through lots of break ups and relationships and now I know exactly what to look out for and what not to look out for,’ she said.
The star also added that having romances in the spotlight have made her wary about doing the same going forward, and that she won’t put something out there until she’s sure.
‘I don’t want everyone having an opinion on my relationships anymore, and I also don’t want to put a relationship out there that potentially might not go the distance.
‘When I’m 100% settled with someone then yes I would potentially talk about it but not till then.’
And despite it being written that Jess is seeing a new man, she told us she’s not really attached as such, though she added: ‘I just want to keep what I’ve got going on completely private.’
