If you’re after amazing views (and are feeling fit) trek up Arthurs seat. You can also check out the shops along the city’s Princes Street before heading to bars such as La Monde on George Street.Mix with locals and head to Edinburgh’s Old Town, where you can find the city’s popular (but well hidden) Secret Vodka Bar. Edinburgh is buzzing during the Fringe Festival in August, and though prices are much higher, its worth visiting during this time even if its just for a weekend.
