Millions of women have prepared to enter a state of mourning as it has been revealed that Ryan Gosling’s girlfriend Eva Mendes is pregnant.
Ellen DeGeneres confirmed the news, tweeting: "Congrats to @RyanGosling and @EvaMendes! That's going to be the most beautiful, bilingual, part-superhero, well-dressed, romantic baby ever."
An American magazine spoke to a source, who revealed: "She's been ready for motherhood for a while now… and to be sharing this experience with Ryan is a dream come true for her!”
The couple met whilst filming drama The Place Beyond The Pines in 2011 and have been on/off for the past year, but according to the source Eva’s reported pregnancy has helped bring the couple closer together.

“Ryan grew up without a dad, so he always said when he had kids, he’d be there no matter what,” the source says. “This is it for him.”
Though 40-year-old Eva may be carrying their first child, hunky Ryan is reportedly not in a rush to make things officially with his bombshell girlfriend.
“Ryan doesn’t think they need to marry just because they are having a baby, but Eva believes it’s important to have their lives fully intertwined… Are there wedding bells and a bundle of joy on the way? Only time will tell!”
