See, even football has it's perks.
Regardless of whether your partner is glued to their telly screens this summer or not – a baby boom is apparently heading our way according to a study carried out by Three.
The study, which was commissioned by the sponsors of the Republic of Island team has signified that the number of babies born next March could be significantly higher than average, as couple are expected to be overcome by Euro 16 fever and are getting even busier between the sheets.
Maybe it's the weather, the wine or the sexy footballers on the telly. Who knows, but it's definitely a reason to jump on the bandwagon and get down to it. Maybe?
The research found that the overwhelming majority of people (93 per cent to be exact) are getting ready for a mood boost with 15 per cent believing that the action on pitch could lead to action elsewhere.
Ooooooer.
Speaking about the survey, clinical psychologist Dr. Eddie Murphy said:
"Football uniquely impacts on a nation’s mental health and emotional wellbeing in a positive sense.
"The anticipation, the fun and the debate all adds to this sense of possibility. Qualifying for a tournament like this is a genuine platform for lifting a nation’s mood."
Can you see the truth in this or does football just turn you OFF?
