Former Emmerdale actress Verity Rushworth, who played Donna Windsor up until 2014, has given birth to a beautiful baby girl with partner Dominic Shaw.

Awwwwwwww!

Confirming her little ones arrival on social media, Verity wrote: "She's here!"

"Our little bundle of sunshine arrived at 02:20 yesterday morning weighing 7 pounds 11 and a half. She's amazing!!"

She also revealed the adorable name she chose for her first child, Amelie Iris Shaw. We love it!

Verity confirmed her preganancy earlier this year, posting this hilarious Instagram post titled "eating for two".

The pregancy was clearly a shock, as Veirty had signed up to tour the UK in forthcoming musical Breakfast At Tiffany's - a role she had to sted down from.

Verity was cast as Holly Golightly - also portrayed by Pixie Lott - in the singing and dancing show.

Some things are waaaaaay more important, right?
