Adam Thomas – who plays Adam Barton in the hit ITV soap – will welcome a baby boy into the world with longterm girlfriend Caroline Daly this September.
"It was surreal at the time"
But, according to the couple's first interview about the pregnancy, the baby was a bit of surprise to both of them.
Speaking with a national magazine, 26-year-old Adam said: "It definitely wasn't planned."

Caroline added: "It was surreal at the time but we're chuffed to bits now.
"It's brought us closer if anything."

The Emmerdale star also revealed that he loves the way his pregnant girlfriend looks, admitting: "I find her hot. My brother Ryan likes a pregnant woman too so I'm currently keeping him away from Caroline!"
Dancer Caroline runs her own dance school ABCD Dance in Altrincham and she and Adam have been in a relationship for six years.

They announced their pregnancy news back in April, when Adam tweeted: “News just in am gonna be a DAD! With this beautiful lady as the mum! @Carolinejanexx #happydad.”
