Kelvin Fletcher, best known for playing Andy Sugden in Emmerdale for over 20 years, has welcomed his first child with wife Eliza Marsland.
Congratulations!
Sharing the news on his social media accounts, Kelvin couldn’t wait to let his fans know. Confirming the news, he tweeted: “Our hearts are filled with love. She’s the most beautiful little thing I’ve ever seen”
Eliza followed up on Instagram, where she sharing a beautiful bouquet of pink flowers instead of posting a picture of her newborn, “Everything pink for the little cherub #bestfeeling in the world!”
Awwwwww.
The couple previously told OK! that they’re convinced that they conceieved on their wedding night.
"We’re pretty sure Liz fell pregnant on our wedding night. We then flew to Rome for three nights. Little did we know, there were three of us on our honeymoon!"
He added: "The day I found out Liz was pregnant and our wedding day were the most amazing days of my life."
They have yet to announce a name for their little bundle of joy. Are they still deciding or could they announce it in due course?
A heavily pregnant Eliza recently joined her husband on a trip to Loose Women, where Kelvin admitted that they chose not to find out the sex of their little one.
He said: "It’s our first one, we don’t know what it is yet so we’re excited to find out if we’re having a boy or a girl."
And it seems like Kelvin’s new arrival couldn’t have come at a better time as he’s just said a pretty emotional goodbye his time in the Dale’s.
He told Loose Women that he has nothing but love for the soap: "I love the show, it's been an amazing place to work, it's given me a great sense of purpose.
"I've been lucky enough to make a living from it."
