Emmerdale actor Danny Miller, who plays Aaron Dingle on the soap, has been forced to apologise after an explosive twitter rant where he called a shop assistant in Greggs a “skanky woman” and told her to “f-ck off”.

In the now-deleted tweet, Danny expressed his outrage at being asked to “smile” when he entered the shop, writing, “Suffering with a bit of anxiety today and so not my normal self I feel.

“Then some skanky woman working @GreggsOfficial ‘cheer up don't be so miserable. Smile!!’”

Gosh, we can’t IMAGINE what that must feel like.

He continued, “You know what, Karen... Why don't you f-ck off you insensitive, horrible woman. Be nice. Or don't say anything.”

Shortly afterwards he removed the tweet and replaced it with another, writing, “Taken the tweet down because it was unfairly worded and I was just wound up, so wasn’t a true representation of what I wanted to say.

“Which was; please think before you tell someone to ‘Cheer up and don’t be miserable’. They just might be.

“Sorry & thanks for the love”.

It’s not the first time Danny has gone on a rant on social media, last year positing a foul-mouthed rant to Instagram after he didn’t win anything at the 2019 Soap Awards.

“Danny Miller is truly the most embarrassing man alive,” replied one user. “How are you gonna let that arrogant, disgusting, DISRESPECTFUL dickhead knock about saying whatever the f-ck he likes without consequences?"

Another agreed, “I don't think Danny Miller can discuss bullying and mental health one minute and act the way he does the next. He belittles people on twitter and I've also repeatedly seen him make jokes about people's appearance. I don't think he's a bad person but he should have to face consequences at some point."
