Charley Webb and Matthew Wolfenden welcomed their baby boy on 19th December 2015.
The Emmerdale star announced the news via Twitter with a cute message, writing simply: “Happy New Year, everyone.
“Excited to head into 2016 as a family of four.”
Fans rushed to congratulate Charley on the birth, despite many seeming shocked at her VERY blasé announcement.
“Wait, have you had a baby?” one asked in confusion.
Another fan, proving to be slightly quicker on the uptake, added: "Congratulations on the birth of your baby boy; have a great time and 2016."
Until now, we’ve been kept in the dark about their little one’s name.
But, in a new interview with OK! Magazine, the soapstars have finally revealed their precious son’s unusual moniker.
Are you ready for this?
It’s Bowie Grey!
The name Bowie is a Gaelic one, meaning ‘blonde’, while the name Grey refers to the colour.
We love it!
However, despite the timing, the Emmerdale stars made sure to explain that the name Bowie wasn't a tribute to the late David Bowie, who passed away in January this year.
"Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of David Bowie but that wasn't why we chose the name. We just both loved it," explained Matthew.
"We'd chosen the name before he was born and named him straight away, and then David Bowie died three weeks later."
Charley and Matthew are already proud parents to son Buster Wolfenden, who we imagine is loving life as a big brother.
Congratulations once again to the happy family!
