Adam Thomas and his wife Caroline welcomed a baby girl into the world on Monday - and they've revealed she's called Elsie-Rose
Sharing a picture of the newborn, Caroline posted: "Welcome to the Thomas family Elsie-Rose ".
The family announced the birth on Instagram, with Adam posting a picture of their newborn daughter next to their son Teddy.
Caroline and Adam, who is known for his roles in Emmerdale and Waterloo Road, have been together for 10 years.
This is their second child together, and Caroline talked about anticipating the birth in OK! magazine last week.
She said: "I’ve done the long walks, I’ve tried the curry, I’ve drunk the raspberry leaf tea but I don’t think anything works. She’ll be here when she’s ready."
And speaking about her previous birth, she added: "Last time with Ted, we were on the way to the hospital and Adam was having panic attacks while driving.

"I know he’ll try his best to help me through the birth, but last time he was on the gas and air, taking it off of me."
Ryan confirmed that he was leaving Emmerdale in June 2017. He played Adam Barton for nine years in the popular farm-based soap.
