We know we throw the term around quite a lot, but Emma Willis’ hair transformation is truly a sight to behold.

The former Big Brother host and wife of McBusted frontman Matt Willis has gone for a whole new look with a choppy short fringe and she looks super cool.

In the photos uploaded to Instagram by her hair stylist Louis Byrne, Emma can be seen sporting her deep, blunt fringe and equally edgy tailored tartan suit and chunky brogue combination – VERY Vivien Westwood-esque, if you ask us.

Louis has captioned the post, "Lovely week shooting with #teamwillis this week.

"We switched up the look for @emmawillisofficial We have gone for a short face framing bangs with a loose chopped edge with a high shine bun. Playful and edgy."

Emma Willis: Everything you need to know

He’s not wrong.

Emma is yet to debut her new ‘do on her social media but it’s fair to say it’s a completely new look for the mum of three.

We’re used to seeing her with varying lengths of short crop – from an ear sweeping shaggy side fringe to a bleached blonde pixie crop with a little quiff, which looked ace with her ear piercings.

Most recently she’s been sporting a natural wavy look with a deep side parting, which she straightens for TV appearances for a more polished look.

She’s certainly found her trademark look in keeping her hair super short, but the fringe is a great addition (take not, all you crop fans).

Earlier this year Emma shared a rare photo of her daughter Trixie on her fifth birthday. Emma shares Trixie, Isabelle and Ace with hubby Matt – who she met presenting on MTV in 2004 – but the couple have never featured their kids’ faces on social media.

In a rare interview about her family earlier this year on Giovanna Fletcher’s Happy Mum, Happy Baby podcast, Emma got candid about the pressure she was under to breastfeed when she had her first child.

"I felt like a bad mum because for the first three days at home, I felt like I’d been feeding her 24 hours a day, but really no milk had been coming out," she said.

"So she’d had nothing. And literally she just turned and you could just see it and I took her to A&E immediately."

She continued, "I still continued to try to breastfeed for as long as I could because that was the thing to do. Everybody that came in to visit me, I felt like I was looked down on.

"Every time they came in and there was a bottle of formula next to me, it was kind of like, 'Ooh, not persevering?'

"I was like, 'I am persevering, but she wants more and I haven’t got any.' So I had to top her up with [formula]."

Despite keeping their home life relatively private, she’s previously opened up about how they keep their marriage in tip top condition, telling Hello! magazine, "It is important to make sure you make time for each other as otherwise you get buried in other stuff like, cooking, cleaning, washing and the kids and you stop and say, 'Have we actually had a full conversation with each other today or was it just, can you get the stuff out of the tumble dryer?'"
