Emily Andre has opened up about the reality of being a young mum and admitted that having her first child Amelia at 24 years old was "hard at times."
Speaking about the topic off the back of Stacey Solomon's recent disclosure that she felt "ashamed" at having son Zachary at the age of 17, Emily said that there needs to be more support for young mums.

Opening up to OK! Magazine, the 31 year old said, "Unfortunately, I think the stigma around being a young mum can still exist, but it’s wrong and nobody should judge you for the age you decide to have children.
"I was 24 when I had Millie, which I still count as quite young. It’s really challenging and the last thing you need is people giving you dirty looks!"
Emily has been with husband Peter Andre since around 2010. The couple were married in 2015 and now have two children together, Amelia, seven, and Theo, four.
The doctor went on to add that she actually had a "positive experience" as a young mum with Amelia, joking that, in the past, 24 would have been fairly late to be having your first child.
Yep, Daphne in Bridgerton is meant to be 21 when she meets the Duke, so she would have beaten Emily in the baby race by a fair few years.
"Attitudes have only recently changed," she said.

Recently, 'mumfluencer' Stacey Solomon spoke out on ITV's Loose Women about what it was actually like to be pregnant at 17.
The 31 year old, who now has [three kids {href='https://closeronline.co.uk/celebrity/news/stacey-solomon-hits-back-sons-dads/' target='_blank' rel='noopener noreferrer'}), admitted that "all [she] felt the whole way through [her pregnancy] was shame."
"I looked like a baby as well. I looked about six," she said.
Stacey went on to add that she thinks being pregnant with Zach is "a bit of a trauma I just haven't addressed."
