It’s official; Luisa Bradshaw-White has married her long-term partner, Annette Yeo.
And, while the happy couple have yet to share any photos of themselves from their wedding, Luisa did take to Twitter to share a cute snap from their big day.
Featuring a watering can filled with flowers, and a wooden signpost, emblazoned with the words ‘Happily Ever After starts here’, it seems as if the gorgeous duo opted for a kitschy English garden theme for the nuptials.
Luisa, who plays Tina Carter in BBC One’s EastEnders, happily captioned the shot: “OMG we did it!!!
“We are officially WIFE & WIFE!!!”
She added sweetly: “@YeoAnnette I'm so excited to be spending the rest of my life with you.”
Annette quickly retweeted the post onto her own Twitter feed.
She also sent a sweet message to her wife, which read: “Thank you for making an honest woman of me at last! It was worth the wait!"
Luisa and Annette have been together for 16 years, and share two daughters (sisters who they adopted almost ten years ago) together.
They previously told OK! magazine that they had decided to get married to celebrate the fact that same-sex marriage was legalised in the UK last year.
Luisa said at the time: "We know we’re going to grow old together – I don’t want anyone else.
“We had a civil partnership nine years ago but my diamond ring got stolen two years ago.
“Then the new laws regarding gay marriage came in and we thought we really should do it because equal rights had been given to gay people."
Their two daughters both acted as bridesmaids at the ceremony - and one of them helped to make wedding cupcakes for the reception.
N’aww - it all sounds perfect. Congratulations to the happy couple!
