Talented actress Kellie Bright is used to appearing on camera.
However she prefers it when a) it’s on her terms, and b) she’s appearing as her alter-ego, Linda Carter in EastEnders.
So it’s unsurprising that the mum-of-one wasn’t pleased to find herself being trailed by paparazzi whilst out on location for the BBC One soap.
Rather than get upset about it, feisty Kellie decided to play the paps at their own game - and snapped a picture of them on her OWN camera.
Sharing the photo of the two bemused-looking men on her Twitter, Kellie wrote: “On location today and thought I'd pap the paps, see how they like it.”
She added cheekily: “Smile, boys!”
We love it.
And, unsurprisingly, so did Kellie’s fellow EastEnders stars.
Riley Carter, who plays Kyle Slater in the BBC One soap, replied: “Haha brilliant!”
Ted Reilly, who plays her on-screen son, Johnny, tweeted: “Don’t mess with Mumma” - along with a little strong arm emoji.
And Danny Dyer, who plays her on-screen hubby, Mick Carter, absolutely LOVED her post, retweeting it into his own feed.
He commented: “Really funny looking things, ain’t they Kel?
“Oh well.”
And, unable to resist a final joke at the paps expense, he added: “Father and son, I believe.”
We have a feeling that Kellie may have sparked a new trend in how best to deal with the paparazzi, you know…
It’s easy to see why the press are so keen to get a sneaky peek into what’s being filmed over at EastEnders - especially as Kellie recently revealed that she had filmed opposite Dame Barbara Windsor.
Yup, that’s right; Peggy Mitchell and Linda Carter are going to be in the same room!
She wrote: “Just had an epic day @bbceastenders filming with the remarkable Dame Barbara Windsor - what a lovely lady she is.”
Danny Dyer sweetly replied: “You're a Dame in the making L.”
N’aww - could these two BFFs be any cuter?
