EastEnders star Kellie Bright, who plays the lovely Linda Carter, and her husband Paul Stocker have welcomed their second child together. The soap star gave birth to her adorable son Gene Harlyn Stocker - after seven hours in labour - back on November 21.
However, shortly after going home Gene fell ill and they returned to the hospital: "He had a nasty cough but the doctors assured me he'd be fine.
"Then he suddenly went downhill so we rushed him to hospital where he was diagnosed with bronchitis," she told OK! magazine.
Bless him.
Luckily after a few nights in hospital on oxygen, Gene returned home and is now recovering although his dad Paul admitted his current cough, "makes him sound as though he's a 50-day smoker."
N'aww, we hope he recovers completely very soon.
The 40-year-old actress who is also mum to five-year-old Freddy opened up about her decision to name her son Gene: "It was sort of because of my nan. She and I watched a lot of Gene Kelly when I was growing up and just adored him.
"Then Gene Wilder died last year when I was pregnant, so it felt more special."
The yummy mummy also revealed she already decided in the delivery room that she would like to expand her family in three more years: "Of course I'd be 43 by then and Freddy would be eight. Who knows? Maybe we won't have any more and these two are our lot, then we're very lucky."
How lovely!
Kellie is currently on maternity leave from EastEnders. On Christmas Eve she left the square to look after her mum Elaine who had suffered from a stroke.
