One Direction fans in Belfast were left devastated when the band failed to appear for their most recent tour date, cancelling minutes before they were due onstage.
They claimed that singer Liam Payne had become unwell, meaning the concert could no longer go ahead.
This Morning’s Eamonn Holmes has hit out at the lads, saying that they should have been more ‘mature’ about the incident.
He tweeted: “Don't care who was sick in #OneDirection Direction. Rest of them should have had the decency & maturity to appear on stage and explain."
A rep for the boy band said: "Unfortunately One Direction have had to cancel tonight's concert in Belfast.
"Liam has been taken suddenly ill, and the concert will sadly not be taking place.
"Fans have been asked to hold on to their tickets and there will be a further statement tomorrow. The band apologise to their fans and wish Liam well as soon as possible."
Fans reportedly started booing when the announcement was made at the arena.
This morning he laid into the band further whilst presenting a segment on Sky News, pointing out that parents will have been forced to take time off work and fit the concert into their busy schedules.
Liam also failed to attend the Attitude awards last week due to illness.
Get well soon, Liam!
