We all know Robbie Williams and his wife Ayda Field are a devoted couple but now the former Take That star has revealed their relationship didn't get off to a romantic start.
In a new biography entitled 'Reveal' written by Chris Heath, Robbie is pretty candid about not only the night he met his future wife but also about the scale of his drug taking.
In an extract printed in The Sun, he details his first meeting with Ayda who he had been introduced to by a mutual friend. They had arranged for Ayda to come to his house after a party but before her arrival Robbie took 'a bunch of pills'.
When the actress did arrive Robbie decided to take her back to the party she'd just come from, where he didn't hold back when it came to getting stuck in to the entertainment on offer...
He confessed: "So I got tucked into a lot of drugs. Anyway, I took a turn for the worse, because I started to cluck like a chicken.
"So I was in the Jacuzzi with a very, very hot girl (Ayda) in Hollywood doing a Hollywood thing, but then I got ill, started to cluck, had to leave, embarrassingly."
We kind of wish we'd been there to witness it!
Thankfully for Robbie, Ayda wasn't put off. Instead she actually moved in with the singer and took care of him for three weeks. Sweet!
And the rest, as they say, is history.
Robbie and Ayda got married in 2010 and now have two children, Theodora Rose Williams, four, and Charlton Valentine Williams, two.
All he needed was the love of a good woman!
