The 40-year-old thinks she and current judge David Walliams would cause drama if they got to work together.

Speaking to the Daily Star, Denise said: "They've got their judging panel right now, but if they were ready to refresh it, I'd definitely be up for that.

"Can you imagine the trouble that me and David would cause? We'd be a nightmare."

The presenter complimented head judge Simon Cowell, 55, and said she's worked with him in the past.

"I've always like liked Simon Cowell," Denise continued. "Me and Johnny Vaughan worked with him when we released our cover of Kylie and Jason's Especially For You and he was great."

Denise could soon be an Albert Square regular

But Denise may have to put her judging dreams on the back burner for a while: her recent appearance in EastEnders as businesswoman Karin Smart was a huge success with viewers, and now bosses have teased a permanent role for her.

Executive producer Dominic Treadwell-Collins said: "Denise could be here to stay. Watch this space."
