Debbie McGee has thanked fans for their support after her husband Paul Daniels was laid to rest yesterday.

The legendary magician’s intimate funeral service was held at the Milton Chapel at Chilterns Crematorium in rural Buckinghamshire on Friday.

Debbie took to Twitter on Saturday morning to express her gratitude to fans, admitting friends and family had helped her through the difficult day

150-200 mourners, including Loose Women Gloria Hunniford and EastEnders actress Bonnie Langford, attended the service yesterday where a silver wand was placed on Paul's coffin as it was carried into the funeral.

Paul discovered he had an incurable brain tumour in February this year when he suffered a fall and was rushed to hospital. He sadly died on March 17 aged 77.
