The 47-year-old presenter and her husband Matthew Robertson are parents to daughters Holly, 14, Tilly, 12, and eight-year-old son Chester.
Davina is one of the UK's best-loved telly hosts, and she wants her hard working attitude to rub off on her children.
Speaking to The Sun, she said: "I read an article recently that said girls of working mothers go off and have a great work ethic themselves.
"I look at my daughters now and have painstakingly told them they won't be inheriting any money. Me and Matthew plan on spending every penny."
Despite her tough love approach, Davina said she and Matthew will treat the children and their future families.
She continued: "We say we will take them on great holidays, and treat their future families to great holidays, but they have to stand on their own two feet."
Former Big Brother presenter Davina's comments echo those made recently by Tess Daly, who admitted she and husband Vernon Kay will not be providing for their daughters' future.
She told You magazine: "I'd hate to have a spoilt brat – I'd think I hadn't done my job properly. I want them to be appreciative.
"Right now, we're setting up a pocket money system with my eldest. We're doing rewards and we've explained that we can't buy her everything."
