David Walliams and Kate Beckinsale have been spotted looking close while out on a dinner date in London.
The 44-year-old Britain’s Got Talent judge and 42-year-old actress hit celebrity hotspot Scott's Restaurant in Mayfair for dinner, arriving in arm and arm and looking happy to be together.
The pair, pictured above in July 2015, have been good friends for years and David has made no secret of his crush on Kate, even joking that she was his "ideal woman" in an interview in 2009.
According to The Mirror, when asked who would be his dream girl he revealed: “There’s a couple of girls I know and they are amazing, so much fun, and they’re so amusing and naughty and beautiful.
"One’s Kate Beckinsale, that I’ve known for a really long time, since before she was well known, and Natalie Imbruglia as well. When I’m with them I turn to jelly because they’re so exciting to be with, but neither of them would ever go out with me, so I can’t.”
Both stars are thought to currently be single. David's marriage to model Lara Stone, who he shares three-year old son Alfred with, ended last year whilst Kate apparently split from director Len Wiseman in November after 11 years together.
