David Jason, AKA Del Boy, is NOT a fan of Miley Cyrus. He thinks she's let him down, she's let society down and society have let themselves down by allowing Miley to happen to the world.
Yeah, we're serious. This actually happened.
Speaking to a UK paper this week, the Only Fools And Horses star blamed ‘society in general’ for 21-year-old Miley’s constant and semi-nude behaviour, saying: “Miley Cyrus epitomises what we have allowed.”
“She has done it to break the mould. I can understand why, but we have given her the oxygen of publicity and encouraged it, so young girls will think it is the right way to attract men. We've lost our standards.
"Once upon a time if you said this or did that, you'd be off the air,” he said, while literally forgetting Madonna ever existed. “They wouldn't dare show it.”
He added: “It slowly drip feeds, erodes standards of politeness, manners and morality. It just drips and it takes us further and further down, and instead of inspiring us to look up, we are all going down."
In other words?
"MILEY, YOU PLONKER!"
